Thackers was established in 1960. We did not start Thackers to become the largest or the most famous food destination. Instead, we strive to offer a homely dining experience, that touches your soul with every bite. We knew our competition was not other restaurants or caterers but the love and heart of a wife and mother who provide simple, hearty and nourishing meals for their family.
Thackers has grown leaps and bounds from its early days when it pioneered Marine Catering by catering to industry leaders such as Shipping Corporation of India and Scindia Steam Navigation Company and to reputed clubs and hotels in Mumbai, Pune and Matheran and we are always looking for innovation and styles to ensure your dining experience is never compromised and your taste buds are always satisfied.
Banquets
For years after an event, we want you to look back and reminisce happy memories of Thackers Signature Cuisine at our Luxurious Indoor Hall or All-season Outdoor Area accompanied by one of the most snug venues, with an unforgettable view of the Mumbai sea and the great depth and expansive horizon.
The Thackers Signature Banquet Menu is a connoisseur's delight with cuisines from India like Gujarati, Jain, North Indian and fusion as well as hot international favourites like Italian, Chinese, Thai, Malay, Japanese and Asian!
Patrons having a grand event at our banquets are invited for our legendary Tasting Menu where they can sample from an endless variety of beverages, starters and farsans, Indian and international sweets and desserts, main course choices of pan-Indian, Asian and continental cuisines as well as our own seasonal and signature specialities.

Catering
If you can't come to our food, our food will come to you.
We have a separate team of Cuisine Consultants, Banquet Managers, Chefs and Service Personnel that is in charge of Outdoor Catering who are here for you, to recreate the Thackers experience at the venue of your choice.
Given that our very first foray into food was catering to some of the most prestigious industrial houses, clubs and gymkhanas in the city of Mumbai, catering has always been our traditional strength and nothing would please us more than serving you our food, and giving your event the taste it deserves.
